So does anyone from here know if VG Cats will become popular/relevant again and how or did i discover the comic when its too late ?

(This is my first time making a blog entry so i dont know if this is even the right place to write this.)
Hello everyone, Emerald here! You may know me as the author of "VGC Epsilon",and that back when I finally finished it I was going to make a sequel.

Well have no fear because that sequel will be coming soon and I hope that it will pick things up not only here, but in the other group that I am a part of, the Crossover-Squad.

Link to them here crossover-squad.deviantart.com…

Anyway I'm hoping I can make the prologue tomorrow and have it up for all to read. The prologue should be the start and show off how I'm going to do it.

Well I'll see you all then!
As you all may have seen, Scott the master of all things VGcat has started his train again, and is actually producing things :3 which in it'self is awesome.

As with this, I too have started making things, I actually uploaded something today a lil while back, I ask you too, to do the same. I remember hw awesome it was looking in my devitions to see something from :iconmatthias777: like "The stranger: or :iconnintendosegasonyguy: 's Christmas break or even :iconrobcakeran53: and his trucks

people like :iconpwnagepony77: or :iconlufteluke: and :iconjuancp: / :iconjuancp: the people that inspired me to be a better writer, people i looked up to.

I want you all writers, artist, people to come out and get back to doing what we were so fond of doing, I know I will, But i can't do it by myself. We were such a strong willed community, So many ideas and ways to look at a simple webcomic, about two cats that played video games, and we created... we created a world for them to live in...

Characters like Ronine, Xander, Toby, Rids, Cyber... Some weren't perfect, others were OP as f*ck, but we enjoyed those stories, We enjoyed working together, Making a world, and now theres new people coming here, seeing our decaying, wondering where has it gone, and i for one want to be able to say, it's gone nowhere...

I'd like to be able to say that with a nice loud laugh ...

I want to say thank you to :iconminty-fishbowl: for keeping the fire lit though, Sriously... even when all of us veterans were down and lost, even when many of us we'er busy you kept at it writing, even if you didn't gt recognized for it, you kept at it, you kept the stories going, never accepting anything less than the best, which as it stands the youngest of the old group, is pretty badass... o again

I thank you. and I also want to say, you will no longer be the only one .

Anyways... Rambling done... I hope to see someone else start picking up the pace... a 4 year break is long enough.

So I'm gonna assume n one is up for this? Alright then at least you can say I tried.

-------------

Like seriously slamming my head into a wall, And i've got an idea... Like  a super collaborative project everybody in the group can help out.

Runs like a basic Colab project everybody involved does there own chapter and the "Shaft" gets passed along, Now We can also add the artist in on this to make a cover image depicting an important scene from the chapter, like lets say we...

Make a story about Aeris getting turned into comatosed vegitable, so for the first image it cold be like a car crash slash hospital room, then the next chapter would be about leo and dealing with his feelings, so it's image could be him with his face bauried into his moms chest(Cause we all know he's a mommas boy)

We don't have to do this particluar idea, once we get a roster of writers and artist we can actually agree on something.

I'm proposing this for two reasons

1. to give everybody a reason to wrie something

and

2. to make sure everybody has something VGC related to read.

Now, i know to actually attain a level of fluidity this'll need a form of management, and a place for everybody to come and go to see what does and doesn't need to be done.

Well this journal topic is for that... for the most part...

All that is really needed right now is people. and a subject. bellow the break is imperative info for those interested.

Now as far as Artist doing covers, and writers doing story bits, Y'all would need to pair up together, and Being on the writers list doesn't say who goes first and who goes last, We will tackle that after we get a good idea of whose doing what exactly.

The webcomic seems to be slowly coming back to life. More updates are happening. But the fanbase seems to have died a little. Fan groups aren't as active. And it seems like a lot of DA fans has disbanded, and completely forgot about it. Most up and becoming bronies. I for one, never forgot. So I'm here today, to ask all of the members of this group. To help breath new life into this fanbase. It won't be easy. But it'll be nice to take things, back to the good ol' days. Let's show Scott that we've never forgot about him! We can do that much!
